From not getting a starring role in her kindergarten performance of The Three Little Pigs, to realizing she's been aged out of the industry at the ripe age of 30, Kara takes the audience through 20+ years of her life pursuing a career in acting with painful honesty, humor, anger and joy. Dirty, Flirty Thirty and Out of Work had its Northwoods South Shore Tour in 2025 with four performances along the south shore of Lake Superior in northern Wisconsin. Kara was born and raised in Baraboo and is thrilled to bring her show to the stage that she grew up on and where it all started!

On this day shelters across the US look to restock the most commonly used items in their shelter- think about what you use in your home and multiply that by 10-thats what shelters go through in a year. Stop by and say Hi to Dave Grant and Intern Kilian during the morning show from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.! This year, if you bring a donation at lunchtime you get the bonus of a free lunch, courtesy of the amazing volunteers at the Baraboo Elks Lodge 688! They'll be out front grilling up (while supplies last) hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hotdogs for supporters on that day from 11am-1pm.
