A jail visitor was arrested at the Richland County Courthouse. Sheriff Clay Porter reports that Wednesday night at approximately 7:30, a Sergeant of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office deployed K9 Aron to perform exterior vehicle sniffs in the Richland County Courthouse parking lot. While doing so, K9 Aron alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics emitting from one of the vehicles. It was found that the vehicle belonged to Anna Frazier, 30 of Boscobel. She happened to be visiting an inmate at the Richland County Jail. A search of the vehicle was conducted and authorities located 7.6 grams of Methamphetamine and various items of drug paraphernalia. Frazier was placed under arrest and escorted into the jail. Frazier is facing charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felony bail jumping, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
