A couple hundred protesters gathered at the state Capitol in Madison on Wednesday to rally against a series of Trump administration policy changes.

The crowd, which appeared to be about 200 people, marched around the Capitol with signs and chanting out phrases deriding the new president’s direction and early attempts to remold the government.

From the placards some of the protesters carried, they raised concerns about a number of issues: the elimination of the USAID agency; the conclusion of diversity, equity and inclusion programs; condemning the administration’s immigration policies; promoting transgender rights; anger about billionaire Elon Musk’s involvement in the administration; and touting a series of anti-fascism slogans.
