Two people were arrested in connection with a stabbing at a Baraboo residence on Tuesday.
Baraboo police were called to the home in the 600 block of 13th Street. A person was treated for a minor injury and released from St. Clare Hospital. That person, who authorities didn’t identify, was later taken into custody for weapons violations, police said.
Two Baraboo residents – a 57-year-old man and 41-year-old woman — were subsequently taken into custody as part of the police investigation.
Authorities said that the investigation is continuing and that charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a short-barreled shotgun/rifle and substantial battery-intend bodily harm will be referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
