Registration Open for 4-H Grilled Cheese Challenge in Richland Center

RICHLAND CENTER, Wis (WRCO / WRCE) – Registration Open for 4-H Grilled Cheese Challenge in Richland Center

Area youth and cheese lovers are invited to show off their sandwich-making skills at the upcoming 4-H Grilled Cheese Challenge, set for Sunday, June 29, at 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Nazarene Outreach Center, located at 137 W. Kinder Street in Richland Center.

Hosted in celebration of June Dairy Month, the competition is sponsored by Richland County 4-H, the Richland County Dairy Promotion Committee, and the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.

Participants can register as individuals or in teams of two across several age categories:

• Grades 3–5
• Grades 6–8
• Grades 9–13
• Youth and Adult
• 4-H Club Challenge

Competitors will have 15 minutes to assemble and cook their grilled cheese sandwiches, which must include real cheese, bread of choice, and up to five additional ingredients.

Organizers encourage creativity, teamwork, and, of course, a love for Wisconsin cheese.
